    Are you pursuing higher education? Scholarships are available for undergraduates attending United Methodist-related institutions and seminary students preparing for service in the Church.

    2024 Scholarship Opportunities

    Rachel Colleen Allred Scholarship Endowment Fund

    • Provide scholarships to students in the Western North Carolina Conference of the UMC attending a United Methodist college or university.

    William W. Blanton Ministerial Scholarship Fund

    • Provide scholarships for certified candidates for ordained ministry who plan to serve in the Western North Carolina Conference of the UMC.

    William Robert Alexander and Mattie Dee Turner Alexander Fund

    • Provides scholarships to ethnic minority students and supports Christian evangelism.

    Cornelius F. and Hettie C. Womble Ministerial Education Fund

    • Provides scholarships to certified candidates for ministry who plan to serve in the Western North Carolina Conference of the UMC.
